Intro screen: Game title and screen shot or artwork from game
The Game title will be West Virginia EXTRAVAGANZA
Team Introduction: Give the names and roles of all team members (no last names)
Lindsey, - I have ALL of the roles. I will design, draw, color, and code!
Audience: Who are you designing your game for, and why?
My game is directed towards 4th graders. They are just starting to learn their West Virginia History and I wanted to make a fun and easy to learn game so they don't have to have their nose in their books all the time!
Gameplay: What does the player see and do? What are the rules and how do you win? What is the goal of the game?
The player will see the beautiful scenery of West Virginia. The player will scroll through the scenes and find the correct object through "TRIAL AND ERROR." The player will win the game by finding all of the correct objects and you do not lose. The goal of the game is to learn all of the native objects and earn badges.
Learning Goal: What will the player learn by playing this game?
The player will learn basic facts about West Virginia, like the state bear, the state flower, state bird, tree, and fish.
Fun Factor: What makes your game fun for the player?
This game is fun for the player because they get to interact with the game and be in it. They have control over what happens in the game. The won't be quizzed!! And they can earn badges!
Smart Factor: What does your game teach? What can someone learn by playing it?
My game will teach basic facts of West Virginia. Someone can learn many of the native animals, and trees to WV. They can also learn basic government facts!
Style Factor: What kind of graphic/animation style will you use? What kind of sounds?
In my game the majority of animation will be hitTest, as well as buttons, and basic tweens.
Originality Factor: What makes your game special and unique? Why will it sell?
My game is special and unique because it is NOT A QUIZ GAME! YAY! I believe this is also the first game about West Virginia! :)
